Congratulations to the Logan Memorial Educational Campus in Logan Heights, CA, for recently completing the review process and earning CHPS Designed status. This spectacular project in the San Diego Unified School District houses transitional kindergarten through grade 8 and a child development center. The campus will eventually include Logan Heights’ first high school.

The design by DLR Group, a longtime CHPS member, was greatly influenced by the community. The result is a campus that supports creative thinking and healthy learning in a sustainable, high performance environment. Click here to learn more about the details on DLR’s project page, which includes a terrific video that gives students a chance to talk about their exciting new campus. Their enthusiasm provides a great example of how school design can inspire kids to achieve.
