REMINDER:
EARLY REGISTRATION ENDS JULY 15th!

September is a great time to visit San Francisco!

There are only a few weeks left to take advantage of the Greentools for Healthy Schools early registration rates. In order to give everyone the opportunity to take advantage of our great conference rates, we extended the early registration deadline to July 15, 2007. REGISTER TODAY because these discounted rates will not be extended again!

Why should you attend Greentools? To join a growing movement to build a new generation of green, healthy schools. This conference will bring together school districts, their design teams and experienced CHPS community members to discuss how to design, build and operate efficient, environmentally sustainable, and healthy schools. Whether you’ve been building green for years or are just getting into the game, Greentools 2007 will have something for you. The conference trainings and panels have been tailored to cover an array of green school issues, to educate you on how to obtain financing through Proposition 1D funding for high performance schools and to assist school districts and design teams in implementation of the CHPS high performance Criteria. We hope to show attendees that high performance schools are a feasible, affordable reality for school districts across the nation.

For the most recent update on conference offerings, please visit our AGENDA webpage. If you are ready to register, click here to find out how you can REGISTER TODAY.

Greentools will be held at the UCSF Mission Bay Conference Center in downtown San Francisco.

Panel to Highlight Prop 1D Incentives and Future of Green Schools

The Greentools for Healthy Schools Conference AGENDA is almost complete, and includes two training series aimed at assisting school districts and their design teams implement green schools at the district level and meet the CHPS Criteria. Trainings will focus on indoor air quality, energy efficiency and renewables, and commissioning, to name a few.

In the afternoon CHPS' Executive Director, Charles Eley, will be moderating the "High Performance Point of View" panel which will highlight the $100 million in Prop 1D incentives for green schools in California and the future of green schools in the state. Panelists include the current State Architect David Thorman and Bill Savidge from West Contra Costa Unified School District, a new CHPS district.
