School ventilation for COVID-19
Summary
The COVID-19 pandemic that has affected every corner of the globe in 2020 will have profound, long-lasting impacts on the design of schools and other physical environments. This has often been the case throughout history as the response to disease and building occupant safety have shaped the way we live.
The goal of this paper is to outline the learning and wellness benefits of improved indoor air quality in schools and to provide actionable design strategies to achieve those benefits as well as connections to further resources.
