CHPS is now part of USGBC
New union strengthens vision for healthy, green schools
As of June 24, 2025, the Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS) has officially joined the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), becoming an integral part of the Center for Green Schools at USGBC.

WHY is this change happening?
This new collaborative allows us to combine resources and expertise to better serve students, school administrators, and design teams—enhancing the overall experience and impact of our work.
