The Green Engineer is a consulting firm based in Massachusetts focused on sustainable design, construction and operations. They are an experienced team of sustainable design consultants and building performance analysts with perspectives in engineering, architecture, construction, planning, development, and public policy.

The Green Engineer specializes in offering CHPS certification project management services, typically using the Northeast CHPS rating system (NE-CHPS).  They have worked on several CHPS projects, including the Mountview Middle School and the Glover Elementary School.
