QKA is a design firm that is passionate about education and using their talents, expertise and vision to design purposeful and distinctive school environments that make a difference.

Their guiding purpose is to support and enhance education. QKA is committed to making every school they design a better environment for students and teachers to focus, learn and thrive. They incorporate sustainability strategies to reduce environmental impact and create spaces that improve health and well-being.

QKA has played a pivotal role in many CHPS Designed and Verified projects. Most recently, Fremont High School in the Oakland Unified School District by QKA in collaboration with LCA Architects completed the review process under CA-CHPS criteria and earned CHPS Verified status as a high performance facility.
