Raise the Floor Campaign statement of support

On November 30, 2023 CHPS and partners launched the Raise the Floor Campaign. To build momentum, CHPS encourages individuals and entities who share a vision of scaling better schools across the U.S. to sign this statement of support.

I/We believe that every student in America deserves access to facilities that create positive learning environments and support their health, wellbeing, safety, and academic performance.

It’s time to work together toward a common vision where better school design grounded in positive student outcomes is the rule, not the exception.

To accomplish this, we must:

  1. Improve America’s educational infrastructure by changing the way schools are designed, constructed, and operated.

  2. Collaborate more strategically and effectively across industry siloes to co-develop bigger, better solutions that get more high performance school projects executed at scale.

  3. Develop and offer practical solutions and support that school districts need to ensure performance improvements are grounded in positive student outcomes and reflect community needs and priorities.

  4. More effectively pool and leverage resources (financial, technical, and policy) to improve more schools, more quickly.

  5. Plan a robust solutions-oriented ‘think and do tank’ dedicated to providing holistic support, resources, and tools to help school district staff improve their facilities.

I/We support collaboratively-designed, whole systems solutions to ensure that we can deliver better buildings to all students, regardless of their geographic location or economic status.

It’s time to raise the floor!
