Ways we work with schools
CHPS district commitments
Over 60 districts and growing require or encourage CHPS in some manner in their schools through a variety of mandatory or voluntary statues. CHPS works with our member districts to assess and communicate the value of improved performance criteria in their own unique environment and can work with district leaders to develop programs that consider their entire portfolio of school facilities to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
CHPS performance criteria
District representatives can leverage CHPS Criteria — which is proven to improve the health, wellness, and performance of student —in new construction and renovation projects. Developed by diverse experts in building design and construction, student health and safety, and building science, CHPS Criteria and complementary tools offer a ‘blueprint’ for projects.
Project recognition
CHPS recognition programs which include CHPS Designed and CHPS Verified projects celebrate school projects that have successfully incorporated measures to achieve high-performance status.
